The Patriotic march is already walking
With delegations from all Colombia, and international attention, the Patriotic march and the open Cabildo for Independence was established in Bogotá

Bogotá, July 19th of 2010
Over 15.000 people came to Bogotá from different regions of the Country; they arrived today to participate of the Marcha Patriótica y Cabildo Abierto por la Independencia in July 19, 20 and 21. “We want to give the best from us, the Colombian people who fight for peace with social justice, against foreign military intervention and for an independence that set us free”, was assured by the vowels of social, workers, agrarian, native, afro-colombian, women and popular organizations, conveners of this event.The activities will continue tomorrow July 20 at 9:00 am, at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia installations, with the opening of the ten cabildos programmed for the discussion of different problems that affect the country; at nightfall the assistants will be able to enjoy the Artistic festival for Independence which is going to be the ending of the day.
This event will conclude the Wednesday 21 of July with the Patriotic March for Independence that has been planned to arrive at the morning at the Plaza de Bolívar where the Independence Proclamation (result of the ten cabildos) will be red.
